Nabbit terms
Last updated 9 September 2026
Nabbit identifies the things in a photograph and shows you where to buy them. Using the app means accepting what follows. It is written to be read.
How we make money
We earn a commission on some purchases. When you tap through to a shop, the link may carry a code that pays us a share of what you spend, at no extra cost to you. That is how the app is paid for.
It does not change what we tell you. Two things are true regardless of who pays us, and both are enforced in code rather than promised here:
- What a thing is, is never for sale. No payment of any kind affects what we identify, or how confident we say we are.
- The first option is never a paid one. If a shop pays for placement, its listing is labelled Sponsored, it is never the default we hand you, and it never displaces a result you would otherwise have seen.
What we get wrong
Identification is a best guess. Often it is exact; sometimes it is the wrong product, and sometimes it is a similar one. Check the listing before you buy. The merchant's page is the authority on what you are purchasing, not our card.
Prices move. What we show was true when we looked. Stock, shipping, tax and the price itself are the merchant's, and the number at their checkout is the one you pay. Where we compare shops, the comparison is between the listings we found, not every shop in the world.
Discount codes are the shop's, not ours. When we show one, we read it from that shop's own site and we have not tested it against your basket. It may not apply, and it may have expired.
Buying
Purchases happen at the merchant, in their checkout, under their terms. Nabbit is not the seller. We never see or hold your payment details, and we cannot charge you. Returns, refunds, delivery, warranty and anything else about the order are between you and them.
Your photographs
They are yours. You give us permission to process them to answer the question you asked. See the privacy policy for exactly who sees what. A shot stays private until you share it; sharing creates a page at an unguessable address.
Do not photograph things you have no right to photograph, and do not use the app to break the law or a merchant's terms.
The app itself
It is provided as it is. We do not promise it will be available, correct, or free of faults, and to the extent the law allows we are not liable for losses arising from using it, including a purchase you made because of something we showed you. Nothing here limits rights you have that cannot be limited, and if you are a consumer your statutory rights are unaffected.
We may change or stop the service. You can stop using it at any time, and Settings → Delete account removes what we hold.
Changes and contact
If these change materially we will update the date above. Questions: hi@justnabbit.com.
